But the last time just in the middle of descent, the lights never came back on, but all levers and buttons worked after that hard reset (by unplugging the USB) But the failures are getting more frequent when flying the Zibo 737.Īlso of note, the first 5 or 6 times the Bravo failed in yesterday's test flight of the 737, the lights all worked again after the USB plug reset. So far I have not had any failures of the Bravo when using it to fly the Gulfstream. So it seems the problem may be related to the extra autopilot functions when using the Zibo profile. But that may be coincidence.įurthermore I did a longer flight in the Gulfstream, which has none of the autopilot functions enabled yet in the Bravo, there were no drop outs of function in an hour flight. It may be coincidence, but if I try to periodically change some value from the Bravo, such as heading or airspeed or vertical speed - this seems to stave off another failure. Then functionality returns, and the Bridge Software registers a disconnect with an on screen message from unplugging.

The only way to resolve it so far is to unplug the USB connector for at least 3-5 seconds and re-insert it. All functions cease to operate, however the Bridge Software does not register a "disconnect". I did a 1.3 hour flight in the Zibo 737, and the Bravo "cutting out" issue appeared very early and very often in the flight. Is there anything I can do to remedy or troubleshoot this harware/interface issue, or do I need to start a Honeycomb support ticket? Shorter flights on 2 different twin jets have no such issues, it appears to occur after 45-50 minute flying.Īny thoughts on cause or remedy? I've been using the CH Throttle Quadrant before purchasing the Bravo and I've never had any partial or full loss of function with the CH and this computer or Xplane version. This is the 3rd time a partial loss of function has occurred and it appears to be getting worse (more controls dropping out on each occurrence). Switches worked for seatbelt light off and engines shut down - still no lights. on the second unplug/replug the flaps and throttle got working again, but all lights stopped working (even with reload bindings). I got the flaps down by using the mouse and on screen lever, and also used on screen to lower the gear - but then realized the throttles were also not working on the Bravo - I tried reloading bindings - no change, tried unplugging the USB and re-inserting it.

Which was VERY alarming on approach after localizer capture and beginning to configure to land! Last evening it was the flaps lever and both throttle levers plus the gear lever didn't work. More than twice now, the Bravo, with a fully working Profile for the Zibo mod, after about 50-60 minutes into a flight several sections of the Bravo controls cease operating. I am not sure if this issue needs any software guidance, or a hardware/warranty issue.
